'Tis the Week of Christmas Parties

An early Merry Christmas to everyone...we wish you seasons greetings, and hope that you and your family have a safe holiday!

For many offices around Des Moines, this will be a week filled with office Christmas parties.

What happens if someone is injured while participating in games associated with the Christmas Office Party?

If the party is a "requirement" of the job, as in, your boss asked you to attend, then then injury would fall under the course and scope of the workers' compensation policy. This holds true if it's a non-employee who gets injured too (a spouse, friend, etc).
