It's Your Craft...Your Identity

In Colorado recently, a floorer won a $16 million lawsuit after he suffered severe injuries when an electrical box exploded. He had gone back to the electrical box to see why his tools had suddenly lost power...and when he touched the box, without warning, it exploded.

His hands suffered extensive injury, and was left with a crippling pain that has prevented him from working in his field ever again.

He told the courts that working with his hands is his's what he needs to continue working.

You might look at $16 million and think, "wow, that's a staggering amount"...but is it, really? Taking into account all his lost wages, future wages, medical expenses, and pain and might just be a small drop in the bucket.

If you have been injured while on the job, or doing a job-related activity, you are eligible for workers' compensation. It's imperative that you know your company's policy, but as we've seen far too often, sometimes those polices are filled with exceptions that have been put in to try and keep your employer from being liable.

We fight for you, the worker. You have rights, and it's our priority to make sure you know your rights, and that you are compensated correctly. You've worked too hard not get what you have rightfully earned.
