Work Injuries Can Occur at Some of Our Favorite Fall Destinations

It's that wonderful time of the year in Central Iowa where fall finally hits...and we spend our weekends at the pumpkin patches & apple orchards. As we enjoy the afternoons on hayrack rides and playing in the corn might surprise you to discover how many employees are needed to operate a pumpkin patch or orchard.

Plus, with the amount of tractors and machinery being used, the potential for any employee to be injured is, unfortunately, probable.

At an orchard in Missouri, an employee was seriously injured when a tractor rolled over on top of him.

It occurred before the orchard had opened to the public, but it was during the employee's normal shift to get everything prepared for the grand opening.

It goes to show that, unfortunately, accidents can happen in any workplace. Employers must ensure that they have implemented all the necessary safety measures to ensure the safety of their employees. When they choose to bypass those measures due to cost-cutting moves, it's the employee who will end up suffering.

If you've been hurt at work, don't stand sit by and let your employer take advantage of you. You have rights...and you're entitled to lost wages & compensation. Some employees will think that it's their own fault that they got hurt, and won't even report the injury because they're fearful they'll lose their job.

Eric, Randy, and Sarah will NOT let that happen. They will fight for your rights....and get you the compensation you rightfully deserve!
