Battling the Elements...Battling the Wildlife

There are some jobs that have an added bit of's those that require employees to either work in inclement weather...or with wildlife/animals.

Here in Central Iowa lately, it seems that there's been a dangerous thunderstorm every 4-5 days, and those that work in the construction/landscaping/roofing industry have to scramble to seek cover in order to stay safe. These dangerous storms pose a considerable risk to these workers and proper safety measures must be taken to ensure their well-being.

The same goes with animals...we all the know cliche of the dog attacking the mailman...but also in Yellowstone National Park recently, hotel employees have had to be on the alert for elk wandering around their area. Just recently, a hotel employee was going about her normal day outside the hotel when an encounter with an elk left her with severe injuries.

If you have been hurt while at work, it's imperative you know your options and rights. An employer will try and do what they can to cut corners & your expense. No matter how valued of an employee you might be, they will try and make deals with you to accept less than what you're rightfully awarded.

Call Eric, Randy, and Sarah at 515-225-4485...we will go over your claim with you, and together, we will fight to ensure you get the proper compensation. We are strong believers in the employee's rights...YOUR rights!
