How Will I Get My Compensation?

We at Loney & Schueller fight tirelessly to ensure your rights as a worker are upheld, and if the unfortunate should happen, we fight to ensure you get your full & proper compensation.

Once we have won your case, or have settled the case to your satisfcation, how will you get your compensation?

If you have been approved for workers' compensation permanent partial or total disability cash payments following your work-related injury in Iowa, you will have two options for payments.

You may receive a weekly check from the workers' compensation insurance provider over a predetermined number of weeks, depending upon the nature and extent of disability. This is commonly referred to as an open file.

However, you also have the option to close your case by negotiating to receive a lump-sum payment for the total amount of money you would be owed over the course of the scheduled payments.

We are always happy to answer any questions, so if you have questions, call Eric, Randy, and Sarah at 515-225-4485. We fight for you...we make no qualms about it...we are on your side. Your employer may come to dislike us very much, but we're fine with that. The only thing that's imporant to us is that you're rights are upheld, and you receive the compensation you've rightfully earned...and deserve!
