Injured Due to a Fall at the Workplace? What Do You Do Next?

Falling equipment and falls are two of the biggest injury risks an employee can face while on the job site.

We constantly have clients who have fallen...or have had a piece of work equipment...fall on them.We find that all-too-often that these accidents could have been prevented had the employer done what was required, and ensured that the job site was safe for their employees.

A 46-year-old man doing construction work was seriously injured when he fell 16 feet from a storage tank Thursday afternoon in Cherokee County, Canton police said.

The man, whose name was not released, fell around 4 p.m. near the intersection of Lower Scott Mill Road and Hickory Flat Highway, Officer Pacer Cordry said. He was taken by ambulance to WellStar Kennestone Hospital with severe injuries, but his condition was not known late Thursday.

The fall remained under investigation by police and firefighters, Cordry said.

If you've been injured due to a fall at work, it's imperative to know that you have rights. Rights that grant you the ability to seek compensation for the injuries you have sustained.

We at Loney & Schueller are dedicated to fighting for you the worker. We will fight vigorously for you to ensure you get your proper and rightful compensation. Eric, Randy, and Sarah will put their 30+ years of experience to work for you can concentrate and focus on getting back to full health.
